Social

SELOC is a highly active club with a wide range of orienteering events to get involved in throughout the year. However, arguably, to get the most out of what the club has to offer it is necessary to participate to some extent in the more social aspects of the club - and why not?

To this extent, we regularly meet on Mondays from 8.15pm in the Brewhouse pub, Bolton BL1 7LG after Bolton Club Night. Additionally, a number of members can always be found comparing notes after the SROC street league events while partaking in a beverage!

In recent years we have had a number of highly successful theatre trips, a bowling competition and the usual impromptu cafe stops.

We always have a special highly informal event at Christmas, which is followed by a pub lunch and presenation.

We usually have a club quiz with food after the formal business of the club AGM is complete, which typically occurs in October.
