Reports are that the day was a huge success, so well done everyone. Don't forget that it is only 2 weeks from SELOC's biggest weekend of the year. Check out information on this website and enter now for the SELOC Urban Weekend - Salford race on 15th June and then Horwich on 16th June. There will also be a Saturday morning race at Clifton Country Park on 29th June.

For all those who enjoyed the training there is another coaching session in conjunction with the PFO picnic and fun relay on Saturday 8th June at Hurstwood.  As ever, SELOC would be very welcome to join the coaching, as well as our picnic and fun relay.  The coaching will run for about an hour, and be immediately after the picnic fun relay event (which has a mass start at 12:00 noon).  It will be based from the picnic site, so you can join in in between sandwiches!  I'll be working on contour interpretation and simplification - exercises for all abilities and everyone is welcome!

Park at the Hurstwood car park.  (£1 all day in the pay & display, or free on the access road). Follow the main vehicle track up the edge of the wood as far as the first gate onto the manicured lawns below  the dam.  Follow the dam lawn north-westwards to the start/finish/tent area.
Competitors can join a team on the day or sort out their own 3-person team in advance.  (Orange 1k - Light Green 2k - Green 3k standard courses). This is a friendly event so shadowing, pairs, etc. are all permitted.
