Nuttall Park, 25th October 2014

Well done to everyone who competed at Nuttall Park on Saturday. The change of time certainly didn't effect the entry numbers, which was very pleasing. Thank you for bearing with us on that one. Perhaps the afternoon start time works better for people than the morning? Contact This email address is being protected from spambots. Nuttall Park Organisers report from Paul Booth 25/10/14

A successful and well attended Saturday park series event. Our events are normally held in the morning. However, due to the high demand on the car parking space from morning football I had to change the start time to the afternoon. The time change was at short notice and I am sorry for any inconvenience caused.  That said, it was definitely the right thing to do in the circumstance and enabled those who can't normally attend in the morning being able to come along this time.

The weather was good to us during the day and we welcomed visitors from PFO, MDOC and long distance travellers from DVO.  The area is split in two by the river Irwell. The area to the south is more technical and has dense undergrowth which has started to die back, as the winter approaches. Consequently, it is increasingly runable but is still offering challenge. The technical course spent most time in this area and proved value for money for some.

Thanks to Jo and Dean for helping and a very big thank you to Pauline and Sarah for running registration with charm and efficiency.
